CHUCK OR SWISS STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. ground round
Flour
3 tbsp. bell pepper, chopped
3 tbsp. fat
1 onion, sliced

Pound flour into meat. Then brown meat, onion and peppers in fat until tender. Brown on both sides then add:

1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Cover and simmer two hours or until tender. Note: I usually just roast a chuck roast, then add the sauce at least 1/2 hour before serving.
