CUSTARD PIE 
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring (optional)
2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
1/2 tsp. salt

Blend eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla and flavoring. Gradually stir in milk. Pour in 9 inch pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Sprinkle with nutmeg, if you choose.
