POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1/4 lb. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. orange extract
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. lemon extract
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/4 c. salt
1 c. milk

Cream butter, butter, sugar, and flavorings. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix dry ingredients together and add to egg mixture, alternately with the milk. Pour into a large tube pan or a smaller tube pan and a small loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for about 50 minutes. Check cake, you may have to bake a little longer.
