GAYLE'S HEAVY MAPLE SYRUP 
1 1/2 c. white sugar
3/4 c. Karo light syrup
1/2 c. water
Maple flavoring (mapleine preferred)

Heat first 3 ingredients to boiling. Let boil, watching all the time, for about 1 minute. Remove from heat and add about a tablespoon of maple flavoring. I like a little more. Cool and pour warm over pancakes, mush, waffles or ice cream. You can double or triple recipe. Does not need to be refrigerated.
