ENGLISH TOFFEE 
1 c. butter (use the real thing)
1 c. sugar (1/2 brown and 1/2 white)
1 tbsp. corn syrup
2 tbsp. water

TOPPING:

4 sm. plain Hershey bars
(or equivalent in milk chocolate chips)
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Slow boil, stir constantly until reaches hard crack stage, 295 degrees.

Pour onto buttered cookie sheet and spread out thinly. Put bars on top; you may want to spread like frosting. Then put chopped pecans on top. Cool. Break into pieces. 150 servings.
