FRESH APPLE CAKE 
1 1/4 c. corn oil (use only corn oil)
2 c. sugar
3 c. all purpose flour
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix corn oil and sugar together with spoon until sugar is dissolved. Combine dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture alternating with eggs. Beat after each addition. Add vanilla, chopped apples, and nuts. Batter will be very thick. Put into a greased and floured tube pan.

Bake at 350°F for 1 1/4 hours. Cool in pan.
