GRANDMA'S MACARONI AND CHEESE 
8 oz. elbow macaroni
3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 stick butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt

1. Cook elbow macaroni for 6-8 minutes and then drain excess water.

2. Place macaroni into a 2 quart (2-3 inches deep) rectangular dish and stir in 2 1/4 cups of grated cheese.

3. In a separate bowl, thoroughly mix (2 minutes constant stirring) scalded (preheated) milk, salt, beaten eggs and butter.

4. Pour milk mixture over macaroni and cheese.

5. Sprinkle remaining grated cheese over top of dish.

6. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until topping is light brown.
