GRANDMA'S CREAM OF POTATO SOUP 
10 lg. potatoes, diced
1 lb. bacon
1 onion, chopped
1/2 gallon milk
1 clove garlic
3 tsp. seasoning salt
3-4 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper

Peel and boil the potatoes. Cook bacon and drain well, reserving the fat. Crumble the bacon and set it aside. Saute the onions and celery in the fat.

Heat the milk. Add potatoes, celery, and onions to milk. Stir in the bacon and seasoning and heat the soup through.

Makes about 3/4 gallon.
