MINIATURE PECAN PIES 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 block butter (room temperature)
2 c. sifted flour (all-purpose)
pecan filling for pies
3 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. melted butter
1 c. Karo syrup
1 c. ground pecans

Mix together cream cheese, butter and flour. Form into dough. Roll into small balls. Put in lightly greased muffin tins and shape to pan. This will be your crust. Now mix the other ingredients together to make filling.

Bake until pastry is browned and the filling is set, 40 to 50 minutes at 375°F.
