GINNY'S RICE PUDDING | |
1 half gallon milk 1 c. sugar 4 egg yolks 3/4 c. rice (Carolina) Dash of salt Put one glass of milk aside. Put rest of milk in a saucepan with the rice and cook on top of stove until it begins to boil. Let boil gently for 25 minutes, add sugar and salt. Next beat the egg yolk with the cup of milk. Pour some of the hot mixture into the egg mixture then pour this back into saucepan and just bring to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and take off stove. |
