OVEN POT ROAST 
5 lbs. chuck roast
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Place meat in a piece of foil large enough to wrap it entirely; put in a heavy pan. Sprinkle onion soup on top of meat. Pour mushroom soup on top and wrap tightly in foil. Put lid on pot. Bake at 350 degrees for 4 hours or until done. The juice from the meat and soups make a delicious gravy.

Another method: Put meat in slow cooker, put soups on top, cover, and cook overnight. I usually use 2 cans of mushroom soup, it makes more gravy.
