GARLIC POTATOES 
New potatoes
3/4 stick butter
Not quite 2 sm. cartons whipping cream
1/2 to 3/4 jar garlic
1 can green chilies, chopped

Layer thin slice new potatoes (two inches thick). Sprinkle on garlic, pats of butter, and chilies. Repeat layers until bowl is almost full. Cover with cream. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until cream has cooked down and potatoes are soft.
