COONEY ISLAND TEXAS SAUCE 
1 pt. water
2 tbsp. Crisco
2 1/2 tbsp. paprika
2 onions, ground fine
2 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. cumin
1 lb. ground round
2 tsp. salt

Saute onions and meat until brown in Crisco. Drain in colander. Grind meat real fine in blender or grinder. Add water, and seasonings for 1 hour slowly. Put in container in refrigerator until ready to use.
