3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. white vinegar
3/4 c. water
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. mustard

In a saucepan, mix sugar, salt and flour. Add vinegar, water, egg yolks and mustard. Mix until smooth. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat. Add equal amount of Hellmann's mayonnaise as cooked mixture. Mix together until smooth. Add to cooked potatoes, eggs, celery, pickles, onions or whatever you put in your potato salad.
