Do not prepare until cake is cool and ready to frost. 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 c. milk Mix and cook over low to medium heat - stir CONSTANTLY. Cool. (Can put in ice water BUT stir CONSTANTLY to cool.) 1/2 c. Crisco 1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar Add: 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. vanilla Mix. Add cooled cornstarch mixture - beat on high - 10 minutes. Frost immediately. |
