BROCCOLI SALAD 
2 bunches broccoli flowerettes, raw
1/2 chopped purple onion
2/3 c. raisins
2/3 c. peanuts or cashews or 1/2 c. sunflower seeds
8-10 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

DRESSING:

1 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar

Mix together. Pour dressing over other ingredients. Mix all together and let sit for a while. Refrigerate. (If you have a large plastic covered container, use that and just turn over every so often to mix.)
