CAKE:

1 box Duncan Hines orange supreme cake mix
1 box (sm.) coconut creme instant pudding mix
2/3 of good vegetable oil
4 eggs
10 oz. Mountain Dew soda

Mix first three cake ingredients, add well beaten eggs and mix well. Stir in soda. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Use three 9 inch cake pans greased and floured.

FILLING:

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
3 heaping tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. coconut
1 c. sugar
3/4 stick butter

For filling, cook pineapple, cornstarch and sugar until thick on medium heat. Then add 3/4 stick butter and 1 cup coconut. Cool cake and filling completely before assembling.
