FRESH PEACH PIE DESSERT 
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. almond extract
6 lg. peaches
1 pkg. pie crust mix
Milk or water

Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt in small bowl. Slice peaches into a large bowl. Sprinkle with lemon juice and almond extract; toss to coat. Add sugar mixture; mix gently.

Prepare pie crust. Roll out to a 12-inch round on a lightly floured surface. Fit into a 9-inch pie plate. Trim edge to a 1-inch overhang. Spoon in filling.

Roll out remaining pastry to an 11-inch round; cut into 10 strips. Weave strips over top of pie, pressing strips firmly to bottom of crust. Brush pastry with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
