CARAMEL POPCORN 
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 qts. popped popcorn
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter, stir in brown sugar. Stir in syrup and salt. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Then boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popped popcorn and mix well. Turn onto 2 large cookie sheets. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool completely before breaking into chunks. Store in covered containers.

When you put the popcorn on the cookie sheets, it will be 4-5 inches thick. Enjoy.
