SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 c. corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 c. pecan halves
1 (9 inch) pie shell

Cream butter; add sugar and cream until fluffy. Add syrup and salt; beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each egg. Stir in pecans. Pour in unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
