1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream
1 qt. nut meat halves

Mix sugar and sour cream in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage. Cool slightly and add vanilla. Add nuts and stir until well coated. Spread onto waxed paper. Cool completely. Break nuts apart and store in an airtight container.
