GLAZE FOR RUM NUT CAKE 
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. rum

Combine all ingredients, except rum, in saucepan. Boil about 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in rum. Pierce cake with a fork uniformly and pour glaze slowly over cake so that cake will absorb glaze.
