SAUSAGE PINWHEELS | |
2 c. flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. shortening 2/3 c. milk 1 lb. hot sausage Combine flour, baking powder, salt and shortening. Add milk and stir until blended. Knead lightly on floured surface. Roll out into a 12x18 inch rectangle. Spread sausage to 1/2 inch from edges. Roll up like a jelly roll. Wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate 1 hour. Cut into 1/4 inch slices and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until brown. |
