PECAN CRESCENTS 
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. butter
Pinch of salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix all the above together. Roll on floured board into small sausage shapes and twist like a crescent. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes and set on brown paper. Sift powdered sugar over them and let cool a little. Give them a second sifting to have a soft, snowy look.
