POTATO BROCCOLI BAKE | |
2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 2 c. milk 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 c. shredded processed Swiss cheese 4 c. frozen hash brown potatoes 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked & drained 1/4 c. fine bread crumbs 1 tbsp. melted butter Melt the 2 tablespoons of butter; blend in flour and seasonings. Add milk. Cook and stir until bubbly. Add cheeses and stir until melted. Stir in potatoes. Turn half the mixture into 10x6x2 inch baking dish. Top with broccoli. Spoon remaining mixture over this. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Mix crumbs and melted butter and sprinkle this on top. Bake, uncovered, 10-15 minutes. |
