DIABETIC FRUIT BARS 
1/4 c. dates, cut up
1 c. prunes, cut up
1/2 c. raisins, cut up
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. butter
1 c. water
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Boil first 3 ingredients in the water 5 minutes. Add butter and cool. Add remaining ingredients and mix. Bake in 7 x 11 inch greased pan, 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
