HAMBURGER/VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. ground beef
1 tbsp. granulated beef bouillon
1 tsp. pepper (little less)
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. basil
2 cans chicken broth
1 can beef broth
1 c. frozen chopped onion or 2 med.
1/4 c. raw rice
Handful of barley
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce bits
1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
1 (20 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables

Brown beef in large fry pan. Drain very well. You can heat broths and rice in your soup pot while browning meat and sauteing onion. Add seasonings and add to soup kettle. Add equal amounts of water in broth cans. Bring to boil. Cover, lower heat and simmer gently for 1/2 hour. Add frozen vegetables, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Add 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire. Bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer 10 minutes. Tastes like it cooked on the back of the stove all day!
