IMITATION LASAGNA 
2 c. macaroni
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
32 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 lb. ricotta cheese (may substitute cottage cheese)
2 c. shredded mozzarella
1 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

Prepare macaroni as directed, drain and set aside. Brown meat; drain off fat. Combine macaroni and beef, 2 cups of sauce and cheeses (reserved 1/4 cup Parmesan). Pour 1 cup sauce into 13 x 9 inch dish. Spoon meat/macaroni mixture into dish. Top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with reserved Parmesan cheese. Bake 35 minutes on 350 degrees or until bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Variation: Sprinkle top with mozzarella cheese, too. Microwave: Cover dish, set on roast for 8 to 10 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
