APPLE CRISP 
5 or 6 apples, peeled and sliced in 1/2 inch thickness
1/4 c. wafer
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
Cinnamon
Nutmeg

Place sliced apples in buttered casserole. Pour water over apples. Then sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg to cover.

Rub together butter, sugar and flour until coarse crumbs. Spread over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

Serve alone warm or with vanilla ice cream.
