HEART-HEALTHY APPLE CRISP 
1 1/2 lb. fresh apples, peeled, cored and sliced or 3 c. canned apples
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
1/3 c. butter

Lightly oil or spray pan. Arrange apples in prepared dish and sprinkle with lemon and cinnamon. Combine flour, sugar, and oatmeal. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
