CHERRY CHEESE PIE 
CRUST:

1 pkg. Lorna Doone cookies
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. sugar
5 tbsp. butter

Line large pie dish with mixture.

FILLING:

1 lb. cream cheese (2 - 8 oz. pkg.)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar

TOP:

1 can sour pitted cherries

Beat filling ingredients until smooth and pour into pie shell. Bake 20 minutes (no longer) in 350 degree oven.

Strain juice from 1 can sour pitted cherries. Mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 tablespoon sugar. Add to juice. Boil slowly, stirring until thickened.

Cover cheese filling with sour cherries and pour juice over cherries. Cool and refrigerate.
