BEEF ROLADE 
Have meat cut into thin slices (top or bottom round), approx. 4 or 5 inches by 6 to 7 inches
Layer 1 slice bacon
1 to 2 slices onion on each piece

Roll up, hold with toothpick or tie with wax thread. Brown pieces good in butter or shortening, when they are all browned add 1/2 to 3/4 cups boiling water. Pour over while hot, let simmer 45 minutes or until tender with fork.

Pressure cooker method: Follow preparations as above, brown in cooker after browning, add cold water (do not boil) 20 to 25 minutes. Let steam return to down position.
