ROUND STEAK AND DUMPLINGS 
1 round steak, cut into 4 pieces
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
All-purpose flour

Brown steak, drain grease and cover steak with water. Simmer until tender, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Mix together buttermilk and 1 egg yolk. Mix together baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour. Mix buttermilk, egg mixture and add dry ingredients together. Add flour to make a stiff batter. Drop by tablespoons into pan with steak. Cover and simmer or steam 12-15 minutes.
