APPLE DUMPLINGS (EA) 
2 c. apples
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder (heaping)
1/2 tsp. rounded, salt
1 1/2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. milk, or enough to moisten

Mix like a biscuit dough. Roll rather thin and spread with sliced apples. Add a little sugar and cinnamon to apples. Roll like jelly roll. Cut in about 4-5 pieces as one cuts cinnamon rolls. Bake in hot oven until apples are done.
