SWEET GLAZED CARROTS 
6 med. carrots, sliced or 3 c. frozen
1 med. apple, cored and sliced
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice

In medium sauce pan, cook the fresh carrots covered in boiling salt water about 15 minutes or until tender (or cooked frozen carrots according to package directions). Drain thoroughly. Add apple, brown sugar, butter and lemon juice to carrots in sauce pan, mix well. Cover and cook about 5 minutes or until apple is tender.
