SWEET POTATO BISCUITS 
2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening (solid)

Mix all ingredients. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter. Dough will be sticky. Sprinkle with flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
