SWISS STEAK 
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. boneless round steak
3 tbsp. fat
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 bay leaf
2 med. onions
1 green pepper
1/3 c. flour
Noodles or rice
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Cut meat into one inch strips. Combine flour with salt and pepper. Sprinkle over meet turning until flour is taken up. Heat 3 tablespoons fat in large skillet. Brown meat on both sides. Add 8 ounce can tomato sauce, water and Worcestershire sauce and pour over meat with one bay leaf. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Add 2 medium onions sliced cut into rings and one green pepper cut into pieces. Cover and cook 30 minutes until tender. Serve over cooked noodles or rice. Serve extra sauce in a bowl.
