DOUBLE BATCH CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
2 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
2 c. dark brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
4 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt

Cream sugars and shortening; add eggs, vanilla and chips. Beat well. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Drop on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
