APPLE CHUTNEY 
2 lb. tart apples, peel and chop
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. white raisins
1/2 c. toasted chopped pecans
1/4 c. white vinegar
Peel of 1 orange, chopped
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Combine ingredients. Bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer until apples are tender and syrup is thick. Don't cook too long, it will get hard. Serve as appetizer or snack crackers.
