APPLE CHUTNEY 
2 onions (med.)
1 orange (lg.)
5 c. firm pared apples
3/4 c. crystallized ginger
1/3 c. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. seedless raisins
1 c. light corn syrup
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water
Dash of Tabasco sauce

Grind orange and onion. Add other ingredients. Simmer about 2 hours or until becomes thick and dark. Seal in hot sterilized jars. Can be kept in refrigerator for about one week without canning.
