MICROWAVE BROWNIES 
2/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. Nestles Quik or similar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Melt butter in bowl on HIGH for one minute. Add sugar. Cool. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, dry cocoa, instant cocoa and baking powder into sugar mixture and blend in. Stir in nuts. Pour into lightly greased 9 inch glass dish. Cook on high for 6 minutes, turning 3 times. Cool before cutting. Makes 1 dozen brownies.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/4 c. peanut butter

Put on top of hot brownies and swirl.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
