CHERRY DESSERT SUPREME 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 env. whipped topping
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix first 4 ingredients well. Press into bottom of a 9x11 pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven about 20 minutes or until light brown.

Soften an 8-ounce package of cream cheese to room temperature and cream with 2 cups confectioners sugar. Prepare 2 envelopes whipped topping mix (or 1 pint whipping cream) and blend into cream cheese/sugar mixture. Spread over cooled crust. Pour 1 can cherry pie filling over the top. Chill well. Serves 10-14 people.
