OLD FASHION POTATO SALAD 
6 cooked potatoes, diced
6 slices bacon, cooked & diced
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar (or to suit your taste)
1 tsp. salt
1 med. onion, diced

Fry bacon until crisp. Put on napkin to drain. Combine vinegar, bacon fryings, sugar, salt and potatoes. Heat or keep warm for awhile over low heat. Before serving add the diced onions and sprinkle bacon over top. Raw cabbage cut fine or green beans may be used instead of potatoes.
