FRENCH ONION SOUP 
2 lg. yellow onions, sliced thin
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 can beef bouillon soup
Sliced French bread, baked hard
Sliced Provolone or Mozzarella cheese

Saute onions in butter until golden brown, sprinkle in flour, stir until smooth; add beef bouillon soup, bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer, let simmer about 30 to 45 minutes.

Put 1 slice of bread into oven proof bowl, put 1 slice cheese on bread, cover with soup and bake 450 degrees until cheese starts to brown. Serve hot.
