1 c. water 1/2 c. butter 1/4 tsp. salt Bring this to a boil, then add 1 cup flour and 1 tablespoon sugar. Stir until mixture leaves side of pan. Remove from heat and stir until smooth. Add four eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Drop by spoonfuls on cold baking sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes in hot oven at 425 degrees. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes. When cold split side and fill with favorite cream filling. Put thin icing or powdered sugar on top. Yield: 12 to 16. |
