CHEESE WAFERS 
2 c. grated sharp cheese
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
Generous dash cayenne
3/4 c. finely chopped pecans

Mix cheese and butter together. Add other ingredients and mix well. Make into small rolls about the size of a stick of butter. Chill well. Slice thinly and bake at 325 degrees for about 12 to 15 minutes until edges begin to brown.

This is a very old Mississippi recipe, given to me by a friend from college days.
