4 cups sugar
1/2 cup apple cider (5% acidity)
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Cook apples and put through sieve or food mill.

Place processed apples, sugar and apple cider in Crock-Pot and stir, cover and turn on LOW. Cook 12 hours then add ground cloves, ground allspice and ground cinnamon. Allow to cook three hours uncovered.

Pour into sterile jars, seal and process in boiling water. Store in cool, dry place.

This was so tasty! I was wondering if I used an electric Mason jar sealer would I still have to keep these jars in the fridge?
