PORTA PIT CHICKEN 
6 c. water
2 tbsp. garlic salt or powder
1/4 c. catsup
2 tsp. pepper
1 1/3 c. cider vinegar
2 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

Boil all ingredients in pan. Add chicken pieces, and simmer 30 minutes. Heat on grill until done. The sauce can be refrigerated and used again. Yields enough sauce for 3 chickens.
