DUMPLINGS FOR STEW | |
1 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. shortening Cold water Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Rub in shortening lightly with fingers. Add enough water to make dough hold together. Drop by spoonfuls into hot stew. Boil 10 minutes without lifting cover. |
