CREAM CHEESE COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. toasted flaked coconut
Walnuts

Cream together butter, cream cheese, sugar, salt and vanilla. Add egg and milk, beat well. Add flour and stir in the coconut. Drop from teaspoon onto UNGREASED cookie sheet. Top each cookie with walnut half, if desired. Bake in slow oven at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes. Remove to cooling rack. Makes about 5 dozen small cookies.
